1969 Bird of Paradise Demi Parure

The gorgeous Avon Bird of Paradise demi parure was produced in 1969. This set features a beautiful figural bird brooch with a body and feathers of textured gold-tone metal. It is accented by a clear rhinestone eye. The bird is signed AVON© and measures approximately 3”  x  1½” at its widest point. The matching clip-on bird earrings have gold-tone textured feathers and a faux turquoise stone set in its chest. The earrings are signed AVON© on the clips and measure approximately 1¼” x  ¾”.  his set was not offered for sale to the public. It was used to promote the Avon Bird of Paradise perfume.  The set is in excellent vintage condition.
