1960s Goldette Intaglio Brooch & Earrings

Intaglio is the art of carving a design into the flat back surface of a stone. Goldette used this beautiful, intricate technique to make this gorgeous demi parure. It consists of a brooch and a matching pair of earrings. Each piece features a beautiful rose and leaves in a brown stone with a faceted edge. Each stone is set in a textured oval gold-tone frame and marked Goldette©. The brooch measures approximately  1¾” x 1½”. The clip-on earrings measure approximately 1¼” x 1”. The set is in excellent vintage condition.
