1983 Avon Allegro Brooch

This striking maltese cross brooch/pendant was introduced by Avon in 1983. Called ALLEGRO, this gold-tone brooch features a maltese cross design that has 4 textured arms of equal length. The arms get wider from the center out and end in a V-shape. A large, oval topaz rhinestone sits in the center of a scalloped frame in the middle of the cross and is accented by 2 small rhinestones. The brooch is signed ©Avon and closes with a locking C clasp.  It measures approximately 1¾” x 1¾”. This beautiful brooch is in excellent vintage condition.*
