DID YOU KNOW???

The Dofan Handbag Company produced purses from the 1940s to the 1970s. It was a French company with headquarters located in New York. The Dofan bags were produced in Paris, Grenoble and New York. They were known for the use of superior quality leathers, materials, and trims. Because of this, Dofan handbags became one of the best known names in the industry and were quite expensive. In the 1960s and 70s, Dofan introduced their Economy Line, making Dofan handbags more affordable for the average consumer. The slogan for this distinguished company is very appropriate: It’s in the Bag-Luxury that Is.
