Puff sleeves first emerged during the Renaissance.𝔹𝕣𝕚𝕕𝕖𝕤𝕞𝕒𝕚𝕕 𝕕𝕣𝕖𝕤𝕤 𝟙𝟠𝟡𝟞-𝕋𝕙𝕖 𝕄𝕖𝕥 𝕧𝕚𝕒 ℙ𝕚𝕟𝕥𝕖𝕣𝕖𝕤𝕥It was a trend that re-surged in the early 1900s and then again in the 1930s.𝟙𝟡𝟛𝟘'𝕤 𝕄𝕒𝕚𝕟𝕓𝕠𝕔𝕙𝕖𝕣 ℙ𝕒𝕣𝕚𝕤 𝕔𝕣𝕖𝕡𝕖 𝕕𝕣𝕖𝕤𝕤 𝕨𝕚𝕥𝕙 𝕓𝕖𝕒𝕕𝕖𝕕 𝕤𝕝𝕖𝕖𝕧𝕖𝕤The bell and the bishop style sleeves of the 1970s transformed into large puff sleeves & many other extreme sleeve silhouettes of the 1980s.𝟙𝟡𝟟𝟘𝕤 𝕁𝕖𝕒𝕟 𝕄𝕦𝕚𝕣, 𝕍𝕠𝕘𝕦𝕖 𝕊𝕖𝕨𝕚𝕟𝕘 ℙ𝕒𝕥𝕥𝕖𝕣𝕟 𝟚𝟠𝟘𝟜𝟙𝟡𝟞𝟠 𝕊𝕖𝕧𝕖𝕟𝕥𝕖𝕖𝕟, 𝕁𝕠𝕟𝕒𝕥𝕙𝕒𝕟 𝕃𝕠𝕘𝕒𝕟 𝔸𝕕𝟙𝟡𝟟𝟚 𝔹𝕚𝕓𝕒 ℂ𝕠𝕡𝕡𝕖𝕣, 𝕄𝕒𝕩𝕚 𝔻𝕣𝕖𝕤𝕤𝟙𝟡𝟠𝟘𝕤 𝔻𝕒𝕪𝕤 𝕠𝕗 𝕆𝕦𝕣 𝕃𝕚𝕧𝕖𝕤, 𝔻𝕣.
