Collection: Dodds

In 1952 William Dodds and Company, located in Newark, NJ, opened a subsidiary called Jewel Creations.  Jewel Creations produced kits in which stones, fixings, and frameworks were included so crafters could create their own jewelry.  Figurals and Christmas jewelry were especially popular. There were also copies of other well-known designers’ pieces available. Marks used were Dodds (with a backwards s) and DODDS (with a backwards S), both with a copyright symbol.
